The first year of school represents a significant milestone for your family and that's why we're dedicated to ensuring it is as seamless and joyful as possible for both you and your child.
At Our Lady of the Rosary School Kenmore, our focus extends beyond achieving academic excellence. We pride ourselves on fostering a nurturing community where every child discovers their place to belong. From Prep through to Year 6, our commitment lies in fostering not only a love for learning but also in supporting personal growth and nurturing the development of lifelong friendships.
What to expect in Prep
Nurturing community
Understanding the significance of starting school, we prioritise your child's wellbeing and sense of security, ensuring they feel a deep sense of belonging from day one. Our staff and teachers are devoted to fostering a supportive atmosphere where every Prep student is seen, valued, and respected.
Personalised learning
We recognise the unique learning journey of each child, especially in their formative years. Our dedicated educators craft personalised learning experiences for our Prep students, offering the individual attention and guidance necessary for them to flourish from the very beginning.
A world of exploration and achievement
Your child will have the freedom to explore their interests and discover new passions. With access to extensive facilities, our youngest learners are encouraged to engage in activities across sports, arts, and sciences, laying the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning.
Future focused curriculum
In an age where digital literacy is key, we ensure our Prep students are not left behind. By embracing the latest technologies and integrating STEM subjects into our curriculum, we foster critical thinking, problem solving and adaptability. This approach equips our students with the essential skills needed to thrive in whichever future they choose to pursue.
Fostering joy and friendships
Our aim is to make school a place your child is excited to attend every day. We cultivate an environment where joy, learning, and friendships bloom, ensuring your child makes meaningful connections that support them throughout their schooling and beyond.
Family friendly
We recognise the balancing act of modern parenting.
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is available onsite, offering care before, after and during school holidays. A range of
extracurricular activities are also offered onsite so your child can explore their interests and passions without leaving the school grounds.

We invite you to take the next step in this journey by submitting an enrolment application for your child. Following your application, our team will be in touch to arrange a meeting with our Principal.
