NAPLAN is the
National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy test that is conducted annually for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. The test covers skills in numeracy, reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Schools receive NAPLAN results from mid-August to mid-September. Student performance is shown on a national achievement scale for each test in the form of an individual report. More information can be found on the
NAPLAN website.
At Our Lady of the Rosary, students are prepared for NAPLAN through quality teaching of the Australian Curriculum and our focus on developing assessment-capable learners, in line with Brisbane Catholic Education's approach to learning and teaching.
