Thank you for considering Our Lady of the Rosary for your child. Enrolments are now open for Prep to Year 6 for this year and beyond.
Applications should be submitted using our online enrolment form link below. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the application, however, you can save the form and return to complete it at a later time. If you save your application you will be sent a link to your incomplete application, this link will remain active for 30 days.
After you have completed the enrolment form, please send the following documents to our administration team via email at
pkenmore@bne.catholic.edu.au- Birth certificate or current passport
- Baptism certificate
- Visa (if the child was born outside of Australia)
- Previous school and NAPLAN reports (if applicable)
Once we receive your application, we will contact you to arrange an interview with our principal or leadership team member. Please bring the originals of your child’s documentation with you on the day of your appointment. If your application is for future enrolment year e.g. two-plus years, we will contact you to arrange an interview the year preceding your child's starting year.
If applications from enrolment exceed our capacity, applications will be prioritised in the following order:
- Siblings of students attending Our Lady of the Rosary
- Catholics in Kenmore-Moggill Catholic Parish
- Catholics outside of the Parish
- Non-Catholics
If you are applying for enrolment for more than one child, a separate application is needed for each.

Enrolment Application Fee
A
fee of $50 per student is charged upon application for enrolment. Please use this
secure link to make a payment or visit the school office with a cash payment.
The receipt should be forwarded to the school address pkenmore@bne.catholic.edu.au as proof of payment.
KindergartenOur Lady of the Rosary Kindergarten is co-located with our school grounds. Applications for kindergarten should be submitted through the
Catholic Early EdCare website.

Do I need to live in a catchment area?
No, our families come from far and wide to attend Our Lady of the Rosary.
What will happen at my child’s interview?
The purpose of the interview is for you and your child to see the school. We will discuss the school's vision and mission, our curriculum, pedagogy, policies, and practices. This is also a great opportunity for you to address any concerns or questions about the school in general or about your child commencing school at Our Lady of the Rosary.

Deciding when your child should enter Prep requires careful consideration about the best educational interest of your child. Your child's development when entering school has a long-lasting impact on progress and success throughout their schooling.
In Queensland, it is compulsory for your child to complete Prep before progression to Year 1. Your child will become eligible for Prep if they are aged 5 years by 30 June in the year of proposed attendance. Early or delayed entry to Prep may be considered in specific circumstances, and if deemed in the best educational interest of your child. Our Lady of the Rosary School and Brisbane Catholic Education follow the Queensland Department of Education's position on early entry and delayed entry.
